Blade & Soul - Blade Master (Fire) PvE Guide by Saber

Hey guys Saber here back with another video this time with a guide! (Not really) Here's a video showing some Blade Master basics as well as openers and rotations that Blade Masters use with some Soul Badges. This is about 80% of what you you need to know about Fire Blade Master so enjoy!

I want to give a shout out to Mhysa (Tungmath) for helping me be the Blade Master I am today, without him I don't think I'd be remotely as decent as I am now.

https://youtube.com/tungmath

I also want to give a shout out to Shiro (EU KFM) for giving me the idea of making this video with their KFM PvE Guide. I thought their video was insanely well formatted and wanted to give my own take on that style with Blade Master.

https://youtube.com/channel/UClv-03-U...

This guide assumes you have a general understanding of how Blade Master skills work with each other and how soul badges affect Blade Master's kit so it may be a little overwhelming to some of the Blade Master newbies but don't worry, it's templated in a way for you to sort of understand when and why you use some of these basics/rotations.

Basics:

Tab Rb (8)
LB (4) DT (3)
Blade Echo
--- 2 C Echo
--- 2 Z Echo
--- 2 Lb Echo

Openers:

Magnum: V C T (7) [Lb] 4 Rb (5) T (7) X (8) C Rb (5) T (8)
Transcendence: V C 4 T (7) X (14) T (4) C X (14) T (8)
Colossus (Basic) BT8: V C 4 T (6) X T (12) T (6) C X T (12) T (8)
Colossus (Basic) VT8: V C 4 T (6) X T (10) T (C) C [Lb] X T (10) T (8)
Colossus (True) VT8: V 4 T X T C Rb (6) X T (10) T (6) C X T (10) T (8)
Courage VT8: V C 4 T (7) V T (7) X Rb (3) T (8) C Rb (2) [Lb] T (7) Z [Lb] T (8)

Other:

Magnum: T (7) [Lb] 4 (5) T (8)
Revelation: Tab (7) 3 (7) T (8)
Courage: T (7) Z [Rb] T (7)

Animation cancels require a peculiar timing that's a little hard to get used to at first but once you're familiar with the timing it becomes a tad bit easier to recreate.

BDO - Horse Skill Training: Drift, Instant Accel, Sprint, Charge

Hello!

In this guide, I will show you the best and fastest ways to train these horse skills: Drift, Instant Accel, Sprint and Charge.
The locations in this video is all near/in heidel.

Some of these skills you need to have patience with at the beginning of training, using these methods, but very soon enough you will learn these tricks!

Drift
1. Find a spot, preferable lag-free area, works even towards a wall.
2. Rebind "W" into any other button you can easily spam with your other hand. (Mouse button is great)
3. Start Sprinting and hold down Shift+A+S together, now start spamming the button you rebinded from "W".

Instant Accel
1. Find a spot, preferable lag-free area, works even towards a wall.
2. Rebind "W" into any other button you can easily spam with your other hand. (Mouse button is great)
3. Start Sprinting and hold down Shift+A+S together, now start spamming the button you rebinded from "W", and then press "F" and hold it down. (Requires Drift to work)

Sprint
1. Find a spot, preferable towards a wall with a object interrupting the hight of jump.
2. Start sprinting holding down Shift, now start jumping.

Note: If you have Streak Leap you must jump manually, because you need a gap between the jumps for this to work. If you do not have Streak Leap, just hold down Space.

Charge (NOT working with dummies anymore. Charge a friend in pvp instead)
1. Find the spot, go to heidels practice dummys and aim your horse between two dummys.
2. Hold down Charge keybinding.

Thanks for watching, and enjoy these quick skill learning methods of Drift, Instant Accel, Sprint and Charge!

Blade and Soul - Shattered Mast 4-man Solo (Blademaster) by tungmath

With the recent buffs to blademasters, especially in the AOE department, I decided to give solo Shattered Mast a try.

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VlKhRItMC4

Stat: http://imgur.com/a/o54E4

First boss: I find it the best to keep the two bosses' hp the same so the flowers spawn at the same time. The rotation is AOE, take blue flowers, take red flowers, gap close, block red charge, then repeat. I also find it useful to use HM block right after blocking red's charge so I don't get hurt by reflect damage (since my aoe hits both and I only have one kind of flower).

Second boss: This guy has some hp regen, but not a lot. It is probably not worth the dps loss trying to keep up bleed. Really nothing difficult. Violent Blade would be so much better than Flash Steps here, but I forgot to respec /shy

Third boss: This guy has no hp regen, hurray! Easiest double cc is double stun on 2 and x. I dropped combat so many times...

I also did the 6-man version solo earlier. The mechanics are a lot different - much easier in the 6-man version. For example, the first boss spawns flowers every 20% instead of 10% and I had more than 2 minutes left on the timer. The last boss was also different, with super slow triple jumps and no cannon/heal. It was quite boring...

Guild Wars 2 - [MAP] Harvesting nodes and Vistas for easy daily & farm by Bukk94

Hi, most of us already have some place where to go to farm specific stuff or do daily. But there are a lot of (new) players that have no clue where to mine or gather and daily can be sometimes pain when you're running through map and can't find anything.

I made this 3300x2200 Tyria map with permanent nodes, plant fields, tree groves and easy vistas access. I'm still missing some good spots for tree harvest in ascalon/maguuma but I hope it'll help you :) If you need harvesting in Maguuma Jungle, go to Guild Hall :)

I've got most of the ores from /u/jetti91 map. Thanks!

Black Desert Online - Farming Mediah Golems [Tamer] by Doom Lord700

Hey guys, for those of you seeing this, you might be having trouble trying to fight the Mediah Golems (Gravestone/Wilderness/Stone Golems) near the Ancient Ruins Excavation site.

This video was from a very brief session I had farming the Golems, as is my daily routine, in 1 of 2 locations. This video will highlight what the wind-up for each attack looks like, and the best method to dodge/block the damage.

I know I have low AP, but my current build uses my Elsh Shortsword and other equipment for farming other mobs, as well serving a purpose for my end-game set for PvP.

High DP is NOT a requirement to face the Golems, as you can simply dodge their attacks, or you will likely die to one of their attacks immediately if you mess up anyways.

Do not expect to get any worthwhile loot, as your only reasons for farming Golems should be to get Bensho's Necklaces, and to get knowledge on the Golems (to complete the Ruins Helms knowledge section for Mediah).

I hope this short guide and my gameplay from this brief farming session will help anyone trying to figure out the mechanics!

Happy hunting!

Black Desert Online - Musa Guide: Advanced Stunlock Combos by Extheleon

Black Desert Musa PvP Guide with insight into how to create stunlock combos with a Musa.

Advanced Combos start at 5:46

Blind Thrust / Blooming Combo Key Inputs : 6:10
Double Dragonbite Combo Key Inputs: 6:24
Gale Combo Key Inputs : 5:25

The guide talks about the changes to the Musa after the 18th of May patch, skill build and CC combo execution.
The guide assumes you know how to cancel skills such as Blind Thrust, and Blooming Phantom.

There have been a lot of questions regarding Musa since it's a bit of a complex class which makes it so fun. This video will show you the skillbuild to maximize your damage.

But most importantly I wanted to make this video to help those who still believe Musa's can't stunlock after the CC patch.

When I talk about the dynamics between different CC states in the video it might sound a little confusing so below is a simplified version of how our stuns can stack on each other for best success.

This has been tested with a Musa against other classes, therefore it's possible that playing a different class to alternate between stuns and stiffs to create CC combos may not work.

First we need to talk about the CC patch and what that means:

1. It means once you knockdown someone, they become CC immune meaning you cannot create any stunlocks after you knockdown a target. The CC immunity once they are on the ground are something in the range of 4-6 seconds immunity.

2. It has changed the dynamics of how stiffs and stuns stack on each other. Previously common sense and logic would assume that the different CC states like stuns and stiffs are hierarchical since there are 2 versions of resistances. i.e stiff being a weaker form of stun. This is true, but it lead to people making assumptions and conclusions that once you stun someone, you cannot go back to the weaker form of CC by inflicting stiffness hence why people QQ about not being able to CC chain anymore. This is not true.

3. The CC patch seem to have introduced same state resistance however. What this means is if someone is stunned, trying to stun them again rather than stiff has a very low chance of succeeding.

Therefore, to summarize the dyanmic between stunlocking with different CC states, you will have the most success if you alternate between the Musa's ability to stun and stiff.

Correct CC chain: stun, stiff, stun, knockdown

Incorrect CC chain: stun, stun, stiff, stiff.

The Double Dragonbite CC Combo

1. Stun Dragonbite+Dragonclaw. DO NOT use Lunar slash , Stiff Backstep Slash, Stun Blooming, Stiff Blind Thrust, Stun + Knockdown Dragonbite with Lunar Slash Finisher Rising Storm.

This combo is the strongest Combo I have tested as it has one combo'd Valkyries with 175 DP whilst testing with 99 AP. However it's high risk, high reward as the more stunlocks you chain together the less chance it has of the full combo landing.

It's worth to note, in my testing, Black Horn Bow consistently landed stunlock combos more frequently than a White Horn Bow. Accuracy in landing stunlocks is a definite factor to think about.

This combo is not recommended to White Horn users without accuracy accessories or bhegs gloves.

The Double Dragonbite Combo Safer Version shown at 6:23 in the video guide.

1. Stun Dragonbite+Dragonclaw. DO NOT use Lunar slash / Stiff backstep slash / Stun Blooming / Knockdown Rising Storm / Finisher Dragonbite lunar combo.

Basic CC Combo

Stun Dragonbite + Dragonclaw + 1st hit of Lunar slash, Stiff Backstep Slash, Stun Blooming, Finisher Rising Storm

This is recommended for White Horn Bow users with 130+ AP as there shouldn't be many classes that survive that.

As you can see, the pattern goes Stun, Stiff, Stun and Knockdown at the end of a combo.

My Gale Combo Recommended

Stun Dragonbite + Dragonclaw + 1st hit of Lunar slash / Stiff Backstep Slash / Stun Blooming Phantom / Float Gale / Finisher Ultimate Rising Storm + Blaze.

With this knowledge you can Mix and match quite a few skills to create you're own personalized CC combo.

These combo's work best with 5 Attack Speed and 30+ accuracy without food.

Please note that despite what the tooltip says, for the Musa our dragonbite inflicts stun and for Maewha it inflicts stiffness.

Black Desert Online - How to connect Nodes + How to get Knowledge with NPCs (GUIDE) by vitor210

Hey everyone, so after 24h of game played on this beta, I'm loving it and decided to create this guide to help others about the node's connection and how to get knowledge (and unlock MOAR QUESTZZZZ) from NPCS. After today's maintenance I'll edit this and add a new guide about how to trade with NPCS (Yes you can be your own merchant, buying things from one town and sell it for profit on another town).

1) How to Connect Nodes.
First of all, Nodes are all the big Icons you see on your map; they are towns, settlements, simple connection points like bridges, or just 1 NPC.

So this is my world map so far:

http://imgur.com/SvNwHHr

as you can see, I have a golden link from Heidel in the south, all the way up north to Velia, and a bit to west aswell.

Here's a close up of Velia:

http://imgur.com/5tXSyWv

But how do we connect Nodes?

So, imagine you are like me, and want to use the farms on Bartalia Farm (the node exactly south of Velia). You first need to go there and locate the Node Manager npc

http://imgur.com/u1WT2N8

Talk to the NPC and select the Node Management option, it will open a new world map window

http://imgur.com/U767O3s

To connect 2 or more nodes you need to Invest your "hard earned" Contribution Points (If you don't know yet, through questing you don't get the usual XP, but only Contribution XP, that's the third bar on the left side of your screen, when you have a full bar you'll earn 1 contribuition point, this can be spent to connect nodes, rent items from NPCS, buy houses/workshops etc.

http://imgur.com/6ZLxixw

on my case, I've already spent my CP investing on this node so it doesn't show, but if you don't have this connected it will show on the left side a button to invest your CPs. This can range from 1 to 3 CPs, depending on how big a node is (for some reason, a node bridge costs 3 CP whereas this farm costs 2). So since this node is close to Velia, it will show a golden link between those AND also shows a white link to other nodes nearby indicating what nodes it can link to.

So now that we have this node connected, we want to use the farms so we can send our workers here. In this case, Bartali has 2 farms (some nodes can have a forest for lumber, or a mine to.. well. mine :P). We choose one of the two farms (or both, if you have plenty of CP to spent, in this guide I chose the second farm since I've already invested on the left farm (shown here by a golden symbol).

When you click on a particular farm it shows another button to invest CP in there

http://imgur.com/ifzLg22

Voila! You click Contribution invest and if you have a idle worker it will appear a new window asking if you want to send your worker there, you click "yes"!

(here's something interesting that I realy find it cool about this game. You can see on the map the icon for your worker coming from the town to your farm, but you can also see it IN THE GAME WORLD!! Farming or Mining, watever you sent him to, that is realy cool)

Here's another example:

http://imgur.com/QwPW5jz

I have a refinery in Heidel where my worker uses Rough Stone to make items. So I required stone for that and since I don't want to mine all day, I've looked on my map to see where could I find a mining node. It turns out the closest one is west of Velia (here shown by the #6) and as you can see I had to go around the map to reach it because the node to the left of Velia that I haven't invested didn't had a white link to #6 so no point in investing my CPs there; instead I had to connect 5 nodes before reaching the #6 node. This way I have a worker from Velia mining in #6; he then sends the items to the warehouse in Velia and I just go to the Storage Manager in Velia and transport my items through a carriage all the way south to Heidel where my refinery is :) pretty simple.

2) How to unlock Quests through Knowledge
Let's say you're in Heidel and you already traded your Beginner Potions for Small Potions through this cute Shai here

http://imgur.com/VdPPtsY

when you talk to her, check out the left side. It shows your Amity towards the NPC. Amity is the amount of.. uhm.. "friendliness" I guess you could call it that. Some NPCS like this one give you something when you achieve a certain amity with them. This case it's a quest, shown here by a golden square with a ? in it. If you mouseover that icon, it says you require an amity of 30 (red triangle and a number 30 after that) so what do you do to increase your amity with her? You click on Conversation (Note: Some NPCS don't have the Conversation unlocked until you talk to a particular NPC that they mention, pay close atention to what they say to understand where to find that NPC).

http://imgur.com/2XkjCEi

When you talk to her this new window appears:

http://imgur.com/QhyVKpw

this is where a fun and unique mini game begins. You increase your amity by talking to the NPC about other NPCs that you've encountered; those are the icons below the screen, the NPCS that you know that Lara has interests with (so if you have few NPCs, try to explore the zone to uncover more of them). You also want to have NPCs that have 100% or close of Sparking Interest. Just right click them and they'll be sent to the circles above:

http://imgur.com/j6BxGCi

after that click Conversation:

when its done it shows how much amity you've earned:

http://imgur.com/bAICliP

in this case I've only earned 17; since I require 30, I need to quit this window and redo all the steps, this time with a new combination of NPCs until I have the 30 amity to unlock the quest.

(Note: Not sure if it's a bug due to this game being in beta right now but when you unlock a quest, it won't immediately show on your screen, you have to exit the conversation with the NPC, walk around her or just take a couple steps back until you see the NPC icon above her head and it will show that she has a quest, just go talk to her and this time it shows a quest).

Not all NPCs give quests though, some of them like the Furniture salesman in southern Heidel, give you more furniture if you have a higher amity with him; others give you knowledge about mobs, nodes or other NPCs :)

Hope you guys understand my little guide, ask anything you want and if you want a particular guide I can edit this and add the new part :)

EDIT: Here's my other guide about how to be a merchant https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/46q8tz/how_to_be_a_merchant_guide/, how to get workers https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/46qoxe/how_to_get_workers_guide , and how to Cook https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/46rq6g/how_to_cook_guide/

EDIT 2: Tip by Echowing442:
One trick when talking to NPCs: There will be a "Requirement" at the top. This can be anything from "earn a favor level of 28" or "Fail to spark the interest of X 4 consecutive times." If you successfully complete this challenge, you can select to do "Continuous Interaction," which lets you have another conversation without spending energy.

EDIT 3: Tip by xLenan:
You're missing something important in the conversation minigame. Hover over the npc symbols to see their spark interest chance and how much favor they give IF it sparks. Hope this helps someone :)

EDIT 4: Tip by nastybadger
Top guide. Don't forget amin it is account wide so you can keep building it up with other characters and that when you purchase something say that took 100 it knocks it off and you have to build up again for a second item.

Blade & Soul - 5 General Tips vs Junghado, Mushin's Tower 7F by kfijatass

I mostly couldn't handle him and after like 10 tries, I found a solution. The builds and guides are all very useful, but I believe the issue of mine was not a class/build one(in fact, my build almost mirrored many of the guides) but a gameplay one. Hence I decided to share a few tips with you.

There's 5 tips I can share with you:

1) Abuse knockdown. Whenever you knock him down, the less shenanigans Junghado tries to pull. He'll try to knee swipe you right after; if you just keep attacking him through the knockdown, he'll be knocked down again(!), giving you good 5 second breathing time.

2) Do not run away from Junghado too far; try to keep a small distance and run circles around him. If you walk away too far and keep trying to escape, he'll dash to you and it will hurt. Edit: There is a sweet spot of medium distance where he doesn't dash to you but likes to use blade call - his most useless ability with a very long cast time.

3) Abuse grapple/phantom grip/etc. Junghado's almost defenseless against it; just use it whenever possible and try to unload as much damage during that time.

4) Abuse Stun/Daze and aerial combos, another source of breathing space and free damage. Edit: Aerials may vary by class, it's a luxury you might not be able to afford if your damage is low.

5) The biggest one. When Junghado hits ~40% health, he starts doing a big AoE charged move, a blast in a circle around him. That one comes from a mile, so you should be able to dodge it. The issue is what comes after it. He'll dash to you and try to do an aerial combo. On top of that, he's immune during that dash, so he often baits a lot of crowd control during that time. If he succeeds, poof, there goes 80% of your health if not more, which means you'll have to start over. You have to iframe(skills tagged as resists status/damage) block/dodge it.

In summary, as you can see, the more you keep Junghado out of the fight, the better, as not only it gives you time for cooldowns, but also gives you free reign to unload dps. With this and saving and ability to block the aerial combo, you should be able to handle it. Good luck for those attempting!

World of Warcraft - Mount Run Guide! by SomeNorwegianChick

Hi all!
A few days ago, I made a chart over the different mounts that drop all over WoW. I figured I'd also share the "route" that I use on Wednesdays for covering most/all of the Vanilla/TBC/WotLK mount runs in an efficient amount of time :)

NB! This requires you to be Hearthstoned to Shrine in Pandaria, and that you have some Cataclysm portals unlocked.
  • Start off in Stormwind/Orgrimmar
  • Portal to Uldum
  • Run Throne of the Four Winds
  • Run Vortex Pinnacle (Note: You can run 1 time HC + 9 times Normal)
  • Fly to Silithus
  • Run Ahn'Quiraj
  • Fly to Tanaris
  • Run Culling of Stratholme
  • Run Dragon Soul
  • Fly to Dustwallow Marsh
  • Run Onyxia
  • Hearthstone to Shrine
  • Portal to Dalaran
  • Fly to Icecrown
  • Run ICC
  • Fly to Wintergrasp
  • Run Vault of Archavon
  • Fly to Coldarra
  • Run Eye of Eternity
  • Fly to Wyrmrest Temple
  • Run Obsidian Sanctum
  • Fly to Howling Fjord
  • Run Utgarde Pinnacle
  • Fly to Storm Peaks
  • Run Uldar
  • Hearthstone to Shrine
  • Portal to Stormwind/Orgrimmar
  • Portal to Hyjal
  • Run Firelands
  • Hearthstone to Shrine
  • Portal to Stormwind/Orgrimmar
  • Portal to Deepholm
  • Run Stonecore (Note: You can run 1 time HC + 9 times Normal)
  • Hearthstone to Shrine
  • Portal to Shattrath
  • Fly to Auchindoun
  • Run Sethekk Halls
  • Fly to Netherstorm
  • Run Tempest Keep
  • Fly to Shattrath
  • Portal to Isle of Quel'Danas
  • Run Magister's Terrace
  • Fly to Ghostlands
  • Run Zul'Aman
  • Fly to Eastern Plaguelands
  • Run Stratholme
  • Hearthstone to Shrine
  • Portal to Stormwind/Orgrimmar
  • Portal to Blasted Lands
  • Fly to Deadwind Pass
  • Run Karazhan
  • Fly to Stranglethorn Vale
  • Run Zul'Gurub
  • Return home!
You would of course have to modify it according to what mounts you already have, and if your raids are locked and you just want to do the dungeons every day, obviously modify it accordingly :)

And remember to set your raid to 10/25/HC/Normal before you enter. The guide I made can be found here :)
