StarCraft II - Scarlett HotS 13.12.12 Commentary by Starcraft 2 FPVODS

In December 2013 Acer.Scarlett did and decided to share a practice session with us mere mortals.
She was also kind enough to commentate her play.

Sharing her thoughts, game plan, strategies and just chillin. Innovation and MMA decide to play a game for us too.

There are very few session I have like this.
It is by far the best continuous commentary session I have. And by such a successful player.

Some people might have this session but for some reason when she streamed her sound was out of sync. This has been corrected.

Again, each game has been timestamped.

Diablo 3 - BlizzCon 2014 Weapon Transmog GIFs by Yoleni

I made a bunch of GIF images showing a rotating shot of each transmog in case anyone is debating buying a virtual ticket for them. The screenshots don't really show them off well enough, so here you are.

WoW - How to get 150% baseline movement speed by AxeLond

So in 6.0.2 they changed the way movement speed buffs work. They no longer stack multiplicative but they also allowed you do stack multiple movement speed buffs.

If you collect all of these items you will be moving at 150% in just normal form without any buffs or glyphs.

Fleet Primal Diamond Easy 200 gold on auction house. Equip a random helm and gem it.

Defiler's Cloth Boots Any defiler boots are fine. They cost 85 honor.

Alliance Horde

Explorer's Walking Stick Requires honored Cenarion Expedition OR Runeblade of Baron Rivendare both give the same movement speed buff. Fury warriors can equip both for a extra 10% movement speed boost (total of 160%)

Enchant the boots with any of the normal movement speed enchants like Pandaren's Step

Figurine - Golden Hare JC only! Recipe is a world drop. I found mine for 98g hold on auction house. Mats are dirt cheap.

If you wear all of those items you will have 150%(160% fury warrior) movement speed. This will still stack with all the normal movement speed buffs like Burst of speed, Ghost wolf, Stampeding Roar.

Ideally you want to have a separate armor set for all of these items so you can use a macro to swap. I named my armor set "Speed.

Just use these macros to swap:

Macro 1

/equipset Speed

Macro 2

/equipset [spec:1] "Spec 1 armor set name"

/equipset [spec:2] "Spec 2 armor set name"

Diablo 3 - Greater rift 50 with Zdps Crusader by chim cham

Heroes of the Storm - List of Heroes to be released by universe by Myzzrym

List of heroes revealed in this thread with links to English wikis, since not everyone is familiar with every Blizzard Games. Note that this not an official release list, some of the following heroes may not make it into the game.
Warcraft Universe:
  • Deathwing - Human Form. One of the five Dragon Aspects in the Warcraft Universe, primary antagonist of WoW:Cataclysm. Deceased lore-wise.
  • Moira Thaurissan. Daughter of King Magni Bronzebeard, Queen Regent of Ironforge. Apparently in the novel Quest for Pandaria Moira felt insulted by how rude Li Li is.
  • Ragnaros. Fire Elemental Lord, allied to Al'Akir (Wind Elemental Lord) and Deathwing to purge all life from Azeroth. Deceased lore-wise.
  • Gul'dan. First Orc Warlock, responsible for the enslavement of his people to the demons. Very important Orc character in Warcraft's lore. Deceased lore-wise. DotA character: Warlock.
  • Kil'jaeden. Eredar Demon Lord, leader of the Burning Legion. Also very important character in Warcraft's lore.
  • Magni Bronzebeard. Former King of Khaz Modan and father of Moira Thaurissan. Turned into diamond in an attempt to commune with the Earth to protect his people from the Cataclysm. Deceased (?) lore-wise.
  • Grommash Hellscream. Former chieftain of the Warsong Clan, Thrall's best friend and father of Garrosh. Cursed by the blood of Mannoroth like most of his kin, but ends up sacrificing himself to defeat the demon lord and free his people. Central character in Warcraft 3. Deceased lore-wise. DotA character: Axe.
  • Maiev Shadowsong. Night Elf Warden, jailor and slayer of Illidan. Driven mad by her lack of purpose with Illidan's death, she became the aspect of Vengeance. DotA Character: Phantom Assassin.
  • Azshara. Queen of the Naga, Empress of Nazjatar, former ruler of the Kaldorei (Night Elves). Said to be the greatest Mage ever to live.
  • Shandris Feathermoon. Adoptive daughter of Tyrande and Malfurion, "battle sister" with Jaina, general of the Night Elf Sentinels (Tyrande's successor).
  • Brann Bronzebeard. Younger brother of Magni and Muradin, considered as one of the greatest explorers of Azeroth. Mentor of Harrison Jones.
  • Jaina Proudmoore. Daughter of Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, student of Archmage Antonidas, Leader of the Kirin Tor and ruler of Dalaran. Most powerful human sorceress alive, she came to intensely hate the Horde after Garrosh destroyed Theramore (wrong move, asshole). DotA character: Crystal Maiden.
  • Samuro - Blademaster. Our beloved Blademaster in Warcraft 3. Not much on the lore side here. DotA character: Juggernaut.
  • Kael'thas Sunstrider. Prince of Quel'Thalas, Lord of the Blood Elves and last of the Sundstrider Dynasty. Attempted to summon Kil'jaeden through the Sunwell, but failed. Deceased lore-wise. DotA character: Invoker.
  • Sylvanas Windrunner. Former High Elf and Ruler of the Forsaken. She was turned into a banshee by Arthas Menethil (whom she despises). DotA character: Drow Ranger.
  • Rexxar. Champion of the Horde, Half-Ogre Half-Orc Beastmaster of the Mok'Nathal Clan. Roams the lands with Misha, Spirit, Huffer and Leokk. DotA character: Beastmaster.
  • King Varian Wrynn. Also known as Lo'Gosh. King of Stormwind, High King of the Grand Alliance and father of Anduin. Former companion of arms of Broll and Valeera (watch. your. back).
  • Gelbin Mekkatorque. High Tinker of Gnomeregan. Crazy little dude. No, seriously. He has a weapon called Wrenchcalibur.
  • Garrosh Hellscream. Former Warchief of the Horde, succeeded by Vol'Jin after the Siege of Ogrimmar. Primary antagonist of WoW:Mist of Pandaria. Huge asshole with extreme lust for power. Warning: Article contains spoilers on WoW:Warlords of Draenor.
  • Cho'Gall. First of the Ogre-Magi, Chieftain of the Twilight's Hammer Clan. Allied with Deathwing. Deceased lore-wise. DotA Character: Ogre Magi (duh).
  • Zul'jin. Warlord of the Amani Forest Troll, mortal enemy of the High Elves. Deceased lore-wise.
  • Aggra. Thrall's wife and former shaman mentor. Not much more about her.
  • Lady Vashj. Ruler of Illidan's Naga, servant of Azshara. Killed in WoW:Burning Crusade. DotA Character: Medusa.
  • Thrall. Former Warchief of the Horde, leader of the Earthen Ring. Central character in Warcraft's lore, there is just too much to say about him.
  • Cenarius. Lord of the Forest, one of the most powerful and influential demigods of Azeroth. Son of Malorne and Elune. Central character in Warcraft's lore. DotA character: Leshrac.
  • Sapper. Not really a character per se, goblin sappers are just famous for blowing stuff up. DotA character: Techies.
Starcraft Universe:
  • Dehaka. Primal Zerg Pack Leader from Zerus (Zerg's birth place). Joined Kerrigan as he perceived her as the "Strongest Zerg".
  • Horace Warfield. Former Terran Commander in chief of the Dominion Armed Force. Killed by Kerrigan on Char as he stayed behind after ordering the evacuation of his troops.
  • Valerian Mengsk. Current emperor of the Terran Dominion, succeeding his father Arcturus Mengsk. Allied with Raynor to take down his father and works on rebuilding the Dominion by trying to eliminate corruption and abolishing forced military conscription and slave labor (good guy).
  • Tosh. Everyone's favorite space Rasta. Powerful and mysterious Spectre who joined Raynor in his campaign against Mengsk. Former teammate of Nova, depending on the choice of the player Nova might end up killing him in SC2:Wings of Liberty.
  • Fenix. Courageous and mighty Protoss Zealot (and the Dragoon) who allied with Raynor during SC1:Broodwar. Ultimately betrayed by Kerrigan, Fenix fell to the swarm and Raynor vowed vengeance against her (Raynor and Fenix seemed to be very close comrade in arms, with Fenix not being as arrogant as other Protoss).
  • Artanis. Tassadar's successor, this "young" (262 years) Protoss is now the Protoss Executor. I don't remember much about him though, so feel free to read the article for more information.
  • Mengsk (Arcturus). Valerian's father and dictator, he orchestrated the downfall of the Terran Confederacy during the Great War. Killed by Kerrigan.
  • Overmind. Former leader of the Zerg Swarm (preceding Kerigan), created by the Xel'Naga on Zerus to guide the Zerg into merging with the Protoss. Destroyed by Tassadar.
Diablo Universe:
  • Leoric - Skeleton King. Former Monarch of Khanduras, corrupted by Diablo. Adventurers' favorite punching bag. DotA Character: Skeleton King (Wraith king)
  • Butcher. The Butcher... A scary, lethal encounter in Diablo I who reappears in Diablo III. Final Boss of Act I.
Other Blizzard Game:
Hope it's gonna help some people who are not so familiar with all the different Blizzard Universes!
Cheers, ~Myzzrym

Hearthstone - Murloc Hunter to Legend by Atreyu

Hi guys, Atreyu here. I was previously the creator of one of the first Beast-themed deck early this year that reached legend before the Sunshine hunter took off.

http://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/21hv1k/hit_legend_with_nonaggro_beastthemed_hunter/

Today I'm here to bring you another hunter deck.
First of all, proof http://imgur.com/F2h7ILq

Decklist: http://imgur.com/1yVzuus

So I've been playing this deck from rank 5 to legend in roughly less than 100 games. Before that I was playing a murloc warlock to reach rank 5.

What got me started with this murloc hunter was meant to be a joke.

I was tired of seeing the cancerous undertaker decks that are floating around the ladder. So I thought I'd make something just as annoying to give them a little of their own medicine.

I meant to make a hunter deck with Hungry crab and murlocs at first just for trolling.
With the aggressiveness from the murlocs, I received moderate success at around rank 5.

Then I slowly cut out the crabs and the bad cards and it became a lot more consistent.

You don't really need the flares with this deck as you have so many charge creatures. By playing smartly, you'll usually do fine without it.

A Murloc Tidecaller start is usually more aggressive than a usual Undertake start.

You get many chances for juggler procs with all the low drops, snake traps, and unleash.

Explosive traps help soften up the enemy minions for a good unleash.
And the one owl and hunter's mark will help you get past the enemy big taunts/belcher.

Most of the time early game you try to stay as aggressive as possible. Sometimes it's ok to allow your enemy to get the favorable trades if you have jugglers/explosive/unleash in hand. Just go to face most of the time.

By playing only the good murlocs, you don't lose much value for the tribal stats. Each of them serve a good purpose in this deck.
Tidecaller is a 1/2 for 1. Good to have in your starting hand.
Bluegill is a 2/1 for 2 with charge. Could be used for trades or just throwing to the face.

Tidehunter is a 3/2 for 2 on 2 bodies. Combo well with juggler and helps establish a board for the Warleader to enter.

Coldlight Oracle helps to draw for your burst during the mid-late game. It basically replaces the old buzzard for the same function.
Old murk-eye is a decent charging minion, but it's one of the cards that I consider cutting in this deck. Still, it works well with all your other murlocs.

The other cards that I considered cutting was the webspinner, but it does serve as an okay start and helps you have a better insurance on having beasts for your kill commands.

The rest of the cards are pretty self-explanatory.

The murlocs forces your enemy to do the clean up early, while you can focus on hitting the face.

What hunter does better than the warlock murlocs is that you have a guaranteed damage on your enemy, and you don't solely rely on gaining the board to deal damage.

This allows you to just go for the face early, and use your kill command and hero power to do the clean up.

The reason for the disappearance of murloc decks was mainly due to the popularization of buzzard unleash, wild pyro priests that were just good at clearing 1 health minions.

Nowadays those decks are mostly gone so I felt like murloc was at a good spot for a comeback. And it was.

The fact that most classes have only 2 AOE spells in their decks makes this deck very potent. As it's statistically difficult for them to draw into them in the first few turns. Most of the time they'd be mulliganed away for minions to get a stable start as well.

This allows the murloc hunter deck to steal lots of damage in the first few turns. After your opponent start to catch up on board, you can even unleash and send most of the dogs to the face.
